Hi all. Welcome to my brand new book blog. I am an avid reader. Though, I have to say, that I had a few years of a reading slump. I just couldn't find enough time. Obviously, I just needed a wake up call. Embarrassingly enough, that wake up call was Twilight. I had to see what everyone was talking about, so about 2 months ago (yes, that's how recent this new reading addiction is) I picked up the first book, and the rest is history (I'm so cliche). Now I've read about 20 books in about 2 months. I'm averaging about 3-4 books/week. I know that this pace can't last forever, especially since my busy season is starting at work, and we're in process of trying to have a baby, but for now, I'm going to keep reading as much as humanly possible.
I mostly read paranormal and fantasy. That includes romance and young adult. I also love historical fiction, and once in a while you might see some randoms peppered in there as well. But chances are the great bulk of my reviews will be somewhere in paranormal/fantasy variety.
Basically the point of this blog was to save my friends from me. For the most part, I've been reading really great books, and as I read, I've been discussing them, with anyone who will listen, or won't. I'm hoping that by writing down my thoughts on these books, I can save my family and friends from having to listen to me go on and on about my love or hate for whatever I'm reading.
If you have any comments for me as I go through this, please let me know. I'm not sure how I'm going to structure this blog yet, but I'll figure it out as I go.
